The Metropolitan Museum of Art Engagement Session
Sydney and Kevin are the sweetest couple! When I started chatting with them about their New York City engagement session, they told me they wanted to focus on places they love to go together. I absolutely love the idea of creating an engagement session around what matters most to you as a couple, so I became really excited as we started to work out the details.
Sydney and Kevin live on the Upper East Side, so they wanted to explore some of their favorite spots during our engagement session together. I absolutely love the architecture and city vibes I can capture in this area, so it was the perfect spot to start! When I met up with Sydney and Kevin, they definitely looked like they were ready to get cozy on date night. I loved Sydney’s off-the-shoulder sweater dress! So chic and perfect for this time of year in New York City!
After wandering around the Upper East Side, we moved to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I always LOVE being at the Met. It’s one of the most iconic museums in the world for a reason. Together, we explored some of my favorite exhibits to photograph, especially the Temple of Dendur. It’s got such beautiful big windows - perfect for portraits. It’s always so elegant and classic in here.
Sydney and Kevin, thank you for asking me to capture this quintessential New York CIty engagement session at the Met and around the Upper East Side. It was a dream come true day with both of you and I can’t wait to see you again for your wedding!
