Stylish New York City Engagement Session at the Metropolitan Museum of Art
Katherine and Manny’s chic engagement session at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of my favorite sessions from last year. I love capturing sessions at the Met because it’s such a versatile location in NYC! With countless exhibits, there’s endless ways to customize your session and focus on the spaces that you love in and outside the museum.
To start Katherine and Manny’s session, we met outside the steps of the Met and captured what I consider to be truly stylish city portraits of them with the taxis and city traffic behind them. I loved Katherine’s white dress and fur jacket. They were such a fun combination - perfect for a NYC bride. Afterwards, we moved inside to some of their favorite exhibits. Their session feels so laid back and natural - which is what I want for all of my couples. Katherine changed into a gorgeous floor length black gown and then she and Manny showed me their must-see spots throughout the museum. While we hit some popular exhibits, we had the chance to explore others I don’t see as often!
