Coastal Inspired Engagement Session in Watch Hill, RI

Kelsey and Ruchit planned the most summery, coastal engagement session in Watch Hill, Rhode Island outside the famous Watch Hill Inn on the beach. It was so much fun to have the wind blow and walk around sunset for these magical photos. Kelsey and Ruchit are such a joyful couple and it really shows through their engagement portraits.

We started their session in Watch Hill, around all of the beautiful homes and inns. Kelsey wore a summery blue and white dress that evoked sweet summer nights enjoying the warm weather and water. She and Ruchit wandered on the boardwalk and even right against the edge of the water. I love when my couples are adventurous and want to be “messy” during their session! The end results are always so special. Kelsey and Ruchit ended the night in more casual summer outfits. I personally loved Kelsey’s casual yellow sweater and white outfit. They truly planned the perfect attire for their beach portraits.

Watch Hill was the perfect backdrop for their coastal engagement photos - it’s a place that Kelsey and Ruchit love to visit for summer sunsets and peaceful moments together. As we captured their love against the stunning shoreline, we couldn’t help but think of Taylor Swift’s “The Last Great American Dynasty”—"They said, 'There goes the last great American dynasty'"—with the house that inspired her writing behind them. Watch Hill’s natural beauty created a dreamy, intimate setting for their love and these special portraits.
