A Cozy Family Session at Home in Greenwich, CT
There’s something incredibly special about photographing a family in their own space—especially when they’re welcoming a new baby. This beautiful at-home session in Greenwich, Connecticut was filled with the quiet joy of a new life. As a parent myself, I know how fleeting these moments really are, so it’s important to capture the most natural and honest images that I can for new families. I also remember how stressful those early days can be, so I love doing newborn sessions at home - where parents (and fur babies) can be present and relaxed for their portraits.
We spent time outside on their patio, letting their sweet dog join in on portraits too! I loved capturing the simple beauty of this new chapter together. Sessions like this are all about connection—no big production, just love, comfort, and home. The new parents snuggled with their son and it was so easy to see all of the love that they’re carrying for each other and their darling little one.
One of the best things about getting married in New York City is having so many options for your wedding photos. You can go from classic architecture and busy city streets to waterfront views and greenery without ever really leaving the city. But having endless options doesn’t mean you need to fit as many locations as possible into your wedding day. When I’m helping my couples plan portraits, I’m thinking about what will photograph beautifully, but I’m also thinking about your timeline, travel, lighting, and how much time you actually want to spend away from your guests.
